Migration & Media was established by Marie-Hélène Gutberlet and Sissy Helff in Frankfurt am Main in 2006.

The interdisciplinary project explores migration and the various modes and materiality in which it is conveyed. Organized in several platforms, Migration & Media provides a forum for discussion and artistic expression and represents a contact zone in which academic and artistic approaches encounter one another in an experimental manner.

Migration & Media includes various formats: symposia, exhibitions, film programmes, readings, publications, interventions, and more.
